New Heart brings the love of Jesus Christ to children who have suffered violence and abuse by providing a safe environment to bring restoration and protection of their future. Committed to prevention of abuse, they invest in the local community by providing education and ministering to families.

In addition to providing the opportunity to share the gospel of salvation, the New Heart Foundation has the mission of bringing the love of Jesus Christ to children who suffer from violence & psychological, physical, and/or sexual abuse, providing a safe environment to protect them.

New Heart has opened a home for girls who have been sexually abused and receives girls up to 12 years old (upon entry). They provide a safe and friendly environment where they can receive comprehensive care. It is a family setting where each girl is loved individually so that their heart can be restored and they have the opportunity for a brighter future.

Apart from the home for girls, the New Heart Foundation actively is involved in the local community to strengthen families and prevent the same abuse that results in so many girls ending up in homes around Santa Cruz. They do this through:

• Mom’s Club Bible Studies

• Sexual Abuse Prevention Seminars in Local Schools

• Workshops for Teachers and Parents

• Hygiene and Medical Trainings for Local Families
